Naturopathy

Naturopathy is an holistic, integrative approach to health that aims to nurture and stimulate the body’s remarkable ability to heal itself.

Naturopathy is “person centred” as opposed to the disease focused approach of modern medicine.

It combines the knowledge of modern science, evidence based practice and traditional healing methods including homeopathy, herbal medicine, Celloid Mineral Therapy, diet and lifestyle advice. See functional pathology/allergy testing below…

Classical Homeopathy

The World Health Organisation estimates that homoeopathy is the second most utilised system of medicine in the world.
Homeopathy examines the total health picture of each individual to support and nurture the body in it’s efforts to restore and maintain smooth, balanced functioning.

It is used to treat both acute and chronic conditions.

Homeopathic medicine is produced from predominantly plant and mineral sources by specialised pharmacies.
When used under the guidance of a qualified practitioner, Homoeopathy is a very safe form of medicine that can be used in pregnancy, during breastfeeding, for newborn babies, the elderly and everyone in between.

Herbal Medicine

The combination of traditional plant lore, the medicinal properties of plants and their botanical classification has been extensively studied and documented over the centuries.
Nowadays modern chemistry has given us greater insight into the properties of herbs and the proper use of standardized tinctures and extracts which were unknown in the days of old.

Herbal medicine is based on a holistic or whole person approach to health and aims to assist natural healing and restore the patient to a balanced state of health.

Nutrition and Dietary Advice

How you feed yourself is integral to your total health and wellbeing - your energy, your skin, your immune system, your mood, your ability to ward off serious illness - everything!

Poor diet is directly linked with poor health and is a contributing factor in the development of long term chronic diseases such heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity.

Diet is also a key element in the treatment of a range of health conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, allergies and food intolerances.

Celloid Mineral Therapy

Celloid Minerals have been produced by Blackmores Professional since the 1930s. The therapy is based on the application of eleven minerals, supplied in physiologically active doses using minerals that form the fundamental structure of the body and that promote smooth functioning of body systems.

Mineral Therapy treatment is safe and effective for everyone: pregnant women, children, babies, the elderly and patients who are chronically ill, fatigued and immunocompromised.
